Brad Paisley has been added to the already impressive roster of artists playing at the 2010 CMA Music Festival. The annual event takes place at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn., June 10-13.
Brad will join the likes of Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and many many more. The festival is a great place to see a lot of country music talent all in one place, including many of this year’s Grammy winners.
The festival donates half of the net proceeds to fund music education in Nashville area public schools, and participating artists donate their time in exchange. It’s a great time for fans and a good cause, so get Brad Paisley tickets to show your support and enjoy!

Brad Paisley may have lost out on his “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals” Grammy for “Start a Band” with Keith Urban - but he has plenty to be happy about!
The country star earned his 12th consecutive No. 1 hit and the 16th of his career with “American Saturday Night,” the title track for his latest release. This puts his number of top singles behind only Sonny James in the country realm.
To explain the track, Paisley has said: “The one night of the week, really, when everybody is willing to be entertained and ready to let loose, and sort of forget about whatever’s goin’ on is Saturday. Friday’s great, too. Sunday, they’re ready to go back to work. Thursday, you’ve got to get up still on Friday and go to work. But Saturday night, you’re free and clear. You had a day off all day, and something about that really does appeal to me.”

He’s still on the road with his “American Saturday Night” tour and is slated to perform AND host at the upcoming CMA Awards, but that doesn’t seem to be enough for Brad Paisley.
The man, the myth, and the soon-to-be country legend has announced MORE tour dates starting in San Antonio, Texas, on January 7, 2010, and ending in North Charleston, SC, on March 6th. The thought of a long, cold winter isn’t discouraging Paisley from making stops in Wichita, KS, Columbus, OH, Grand Rapids, Mich., and many more in between.
Joining Brad on the road for this leg of his tour are Miranda Lambert, a two-time Grammy nominee, and Justin Moore, one of country music’s rising stars.
He’s a machine - go check him out live and see what all the fuss is about!

Highlights of Brad Paisley’s performance at this summer’s CMA Music Festival will air on ABC from 8-11 p.m. on Aug. 31. The show, “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock,” will also feature segments of other hot performers, including Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock, Darius Rucker, Brooks & Dunn, and many more.
This viewing is the sixth year that the four-day festival has been released for TV audiences, giving country music fans a chance to see the action that they may have missed. Not only does the show follow the acts, but it also offers some backstage moments to give viewers a “behind the scenes” peek.
The CMA Music Festival originally began as “Fan Fair” in 1972 and has steadily averaged about 4,000 more attendees from the festival’s previous year.

Brad Paisley was inspired by hard economic times and personal events as he co-wrote all 14 new songs on his latest release, American Saturday Night. He commented, “I think all of that and the birth of a son and the bold new times we’re living in… it’s hard to ignore.”
In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Paisley opened up on where the material came from for his new album, saying the times were too serious for a strictly lighthearted CD. He embraces diversity with the title track, while the song “Welcome to the Future” provides the listener with some social commentary.
But don’t fret - there is still some whimsy on the record. Paisley’s son, Huck, makes his musical debut by singing the last word on “Anything Like Me.” And the CD cover art is compliments of Paisley himself, who sketched the design and painted it in his barn in an hour!
