NEWS
Brad Paisley is a country megastar, so it’s his perogative to change his mind–and his tour name–if he wants to. And that’s just what he did.
According to the man himself, the ‘Camobunga! 2012 World Tour’ has been renamed to the ‘Virtual Reality World Tour 2012′ to reflect more accurately the kind of experience in store for Paisley’s fans.
“When you see plans and sketches on paper it’s one thing but to actually see it in real life is something else, and that’s what happened to me when we were in tour rehearsals,” Paisley said. “When I saw the visuals and how exciting and sometimes mind-blowing they were I just felt the tour name needed to reflect what the fans were going to see. For two hours each night of the tour they can be taken away from reality – literally.”
I’m sure his production and marketing people are in a tailspin, but the fans could care less. Except for me. I’m ecstatic at the name change - camobunga was just dumb. And I’m ecstatic about the opening acts, The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery. The show is guaranteed to amaze, so don’t miss your chance to see Brad Paisley live starting January 12 through March 17 at venues across the country.

Brad Paisley began his latest album by spending hours in a room playing around with his guitar to make sounds like he heard on Alabama’s “Mountain Music.” And who better to help him achieve that sound than Alabama’s own Randy Owen?
“That ain’t ‘Mountain Music.’ This is,” Owen said, according to a Pollstar.com interview.
From there, the country stars moved on to “Old Alabama,” Paisley’s No. 1 hit from his latest album, This Is Country Music.
“I just realized there’s nothing off-limits as far as topics go in country music,” Paisley said in the same interview. ( Read More…)

After taking a mini break this fall, Brad Paisley is now refreshed and refocused on the new set of winter tour dates he’s added for his H2O tour. But in the spirit of revival, Paisley has given this next leg of his tour a more seasonal name… the H2O Frozen Over Tour!
The tour is aptly named given the stops he’ll be making in the dead of winter, including Green Bay, Wis., Evansville, Ind., and a string of dates in Canada, such as Montreal and Ottawa - all in January. Brrrrrr! Fortunately, Darius Rucker is coming back on the road again to help warm up the audiences.
You can get the complete set of Brad Paisley tour dates from his official website, and also check back soon for other news.

Brad’s busy summer is quickly becoming a busy fall. His H2O Tour will be wrapping up at the end of the month, but he’s just signed on to headline another free concert on the Gulf Coast in Alabama, as has Bon Jovi.
Dubbed “Concerts For The Coast” series, the shows are being presented by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism in their continuing efforts to attracts tourists back to the area after the BP oil spill. Both concerts coincide with the annual Thunder On The Gulf powerboat races held Oct. 12-17.

“I’ve never been this excited about a tour,” Paisley said. “After one of the worst winters I can remember, we’re going to make up for it this summer.”
That’s what Brad Paisley had to say upon announcing his ‘H2O World Tour’ on March 22nd, which is the date designated by the United Nations General Assembly as “World Water Day.” Paisley used the occasion to break the news about his upcoming tour, and to draw attention to the critical global water issues that spawned the annual observance.
Water will definitely be the central theme of Brad’s next outing, which begins May 21st in Virginia Beach. The tour will feature a “‘Water World Plaza” complete with fishing simulator and dunking booth, as well as the “Water World Plaza Stage,” where emerging artists will have the chance to showcase their music.
Darius Rucker and Justin Moore will be the special guests on the tour. Hope Through Healing Hands and Chevy are the partners for the ‘Water World Plaza.’

Brad Paisley has been added to the already impressive roster of artists playing at the 2010 CMA Music Festival. The annual event takes place at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn., June 10-13.
Brad will join the likes of Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and many many more. The festival is a great place to see a lot of country music talent all in one place, including many of this year’s Grammy winners.
The festival donates half of the net proceeds to fund music education in Nashville area public schools, and participating artists donate their time in exchange. It’s a great time for fans and a good cause, so get Brad Paisley tickets to show your support and enjoy!
